The Global Goals
In 2015, all 193 countries of the United Nations agreed to 17 goals for creating a better world by 2030, for business, for humanity and for the planet. Together, these Global Goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and address climate change.
The Need for Action
Whilst there has been good momentum so far, evidence suggests that at the current rate of progress the world is off track to achieve the Global Goals by 2030.
With just over ten years to go to ensure their delivery, we urgently need business and policy leaders to step up action and renew their commitments to the Global Goals before it’s too late.
We believe in the unparalleled potential of the Technology sector to build the partnerships and solutions required to achieve the Global Goals by 2030. That’s why we’re asking CogX attendees to point their Tools, Tech and Talent towards the Global Goals in the hope that together, we can deliver on the promises that were made in 2015 and achieve a better world by 2030.
Who are 2030Vision?
2030Vision is a partnership initiative founded by ARM that looks to combine the power of cross-sector collaboration with the potential of technological innovation in order to drive progress against the Global Goals.
2030Vision believe that it is only through extensive collaboration across Governments, business, NGOs and academia that we can deliver the technological solutions required to achieve these goals and unlock their commercial potential.
