What Now for The National Health Service?

In partnership with Microsoft and co-curators;

Overview

With health systems being stretched across the world due to the pandemic, a new discussion has begun to emerge around future resiliency. We want to know what we can do better to help support our local health systems and the people that work in them. More importantly, what can we do to strengthen infrastructure and prevent future crises weighing so heavily?

Against the backdrop of this once-in-a-century health crisis, we are welcoming a new generation of problem solvers, entrepreneurs and technologists working to innovate and capitalise on this momentum.

We’re incredibly excited to welcome a number of important guests to discuss these themes including: the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock, pioneer of medicine Eric Topol and Glen Robinson, National Technology Officer at Microsoft UK to offer deeper insight into how data, new technologies and AI could fast track health systems into the future.

As part of this half-day programme, we aim to pay homage to a 72-year-old venerated institution, the NHS.
