MP and Secretary of State for Implementation, Cabinet Office
Oliver Dowden CBE MP was appointed as Minister for Implementation at the Cabinet Office in January 2018. In this role he is responsible for a range of policy areas that sit at the heart of the government’s agenda, including opening up public appointments and improving digital government. His priorities as part of the work on digital government include the Innovation Strategy and a cross-government artificial intelligence review. He was elected as the MP for Hertsmere in May 2015, and previously worked as Deputy Chief of Staff to David Cameron at Downing Street.
