About Adrian

Adrian is a particle physicist and author of two books. His research interest lies in the understanding of the behaviour of fundamental particles, and the technology required to further that understanding; both in terms of techniques and algorithms and in terms of instrumentation. He has used likelihood and machine learning methods in his research and teaching for the past two decades. Following a decade of working on an experiment based in Menlo Park California to study matter-anti matter differences, he now heads a team of scientists searching for new types of fundamental particle using the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Switzerland.
