By night I’m co-founder of The Wayback with Philippa Thomas from Thomas Thomas Films. The Wayback is a virtual reality film series for people living with dementia their loved ones and carer’s.
A deeply personal Kickstarted project, The Wayback, has grown from a labour of love to a winner of the UK Challenge Dementia prize, supported by the Alzheimer’s Society – as well as earning a place in the permanent archive at the British Film Institute. Last year we represented the UK creative industries at the House of Commons and SXSW, Texas.
By day I’m one half of a Creative Director team at Havas London with Andy Garnett. Recent projects include inventing a word to help children who can’t find the right words to describe their worries, for Childline; and creating a film to thank teachers up and down the country during lockdown, for the Department of Education
Before joining Havas London, previous homes included Grey, DDB, Saatchi & Saatchi and JWT winning a Cannes Gold Lion, D&AD pencils, BTAA golds and the John Webster Award.
