About Dr. Divya

Dr. Chander is a physician, neuroscientist, and futurist who trained at Harvard, UCSD, UCSF, and the Salk Institute. She is Chair of Neuroscience and Faculty of Medicine at Singularity University, Visiting Scholar in Medicine at Stanford (where she was on faculty for 8 years), founder and CEO of lucidify, a tele-neuroICU platform and Founder +CMO of Plexxus, a company building the world’s connected global immune system. Dr. Chander also serves on a NASA-White House task force for COVID19, works with the Director of the Governor’s Covid19 task force for the state of California to suggest strategies for opening the state, and is Program Director for post-pandemic global health surveillance and infrastructure with OneShared.World. Her research interests center around mapping human consciousness. In 2004, she was a finalist for astronaut selection, and has since maintained a passion for building medical systems in space to sustain human exploration.
