Creative Industries Trade and Investment Board (CITIB)
Elizabeth is the Senior Adviser to the Creative Industries Trade and Investment Board (CITIB).
After a distinguished and extensive career in international financial markets and politics, Elizabeth has her own consultancy working in tech, creative industries, PR and public affairs. She led a delegation of UK digital businesses to the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting and regularly promotes the UK digital economy and ecosystem via international and local engagement. She was a speaker at the UK Government India Tech tie up in Delhi in 2018. She was Advocacy Director for London Tech Week and assisted in curating the Summit Stage for CogX and Createch at London Tech Week 2020.
She was previously Head of New Business working in the coalition government with senior parliamentarians, SMEs and entrepreneurs. Her first career in investment banking spanned senior positions within major US, UK, Japanese and European banks, specialising in Fixed Income, where she held senior positions in sales and Fund Management.
She is a Mentor for Commonwealth First, a Programme developed by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council with the Foreign Office, and sits on the Advisory Boards for ADA, the National College for Digital Skills as well as Finito, an Education company helping young people find their career choices. She has recently been appointed a mentor to tech companies in India and the Middle East and has her own environmental and sustainability project.
