I am a Royal Society-Wellcome Trust Sir Henry Dale Fellow, and my research focuses on causal inference and machine learning methodology, with applications to high-dimensional data. This includes developing tools for counterfactual prediction models, used in clinical decision making where causality plays a fundamental role in trying to predict the effect of taking (or not taking) a particular cause of action, given the past. I also lead a project exploring machine learning tools for treatment effect heterogeneity at the Alan Turing Institute.
