In 2016/2017 he served as Executive Chairman UDG United Digital Group. From 2001-2007 he was Founder & CEO Publicis Sasserath and CSO Publicis Groupe Germany. His former positions include MD McCann and Head of Strategy BBDO Group Germany.
Since 2016, Marc Sasserath is Affiliate Professor at ESCP Europe for entrepreneurship and innovation. He studied business, philosophy, languages and clinical organizational psychology in Germany, France and the UK. He holds an MSc from HEC Paris, the DipCCC (INSEAD & HEC) and Diplom-Betriebswirt.
Marc Sasserath is an active member of the Berlin/SF startup ecosystems contributing to the development of a number of tech accelerators and innovation centers such as APX – by Axel Springer + Porsche, Deutsche Telekom’s hubr:aum and Hermann’s – member of the Bahlsen family. Amongst others he is member of the supervisory board of vocatus AG, Munich, board member of Betterplace.org/gut.org and member of the assembly of ESCP Europe Berlin.
