About Martina Astrid

Martina is a DPhil student in Classical Languages and Literature. Their interests range from ancient literary themes to quantitative methods, discourse analysis, and computational linguistics. Their doctoral work focuses on language variation in archaic Greek epic, exploring syntactic and semantic change through computational approaches. In collaboration with The Alan Turing Institute, during their stay as an enrichment student, they developed a vector space model of ancient Greek word meaning.
