Terry works with companies in the start-up and private equity space, focusing on Digital Transformation, Omnichannel and China B2C. He helped build the European presence of both Amazon and Alibaba. His work has ranged from creating and scaling Online Marketing channels to guiding European brands to connect with the Chinese consumer. He began his career as a commercial photographer and later led Yahoo’s EMEA Advertising Marketplace. Passionate about Omnichannel, Terry made the rare move from the online pure player world to join the German retailer Karstadt in order to understand both sides of the world of retail. During his leadership of Alibaba in Europe, Terry worked with companies large and small, consumers and governments to bring the benefits of the Alibaba Ecosystem to Europe as well as to bring European brands to China. He believes in using curiosity, creativity and technology to create stakeholder value.
