About Alastair

Dr Alastair Gregory graduated with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London in 2017, after undertaking research secondments at Trexquant Investments LP, and on an EPSRC grant for the Maths Foresees Network. Whilst completing his PhD, he obtained the Doris Chen Award for his research. Currently, Alastair works as a Research Associate on the Programme for Data-Centric Engineering at the Alan Turing Institute. His research interests include machine learning, streaming data, and physics-based model-data interactions.
