Dr Christopher Markou is a Leverhulme Fellow and Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, The University of Cambridge. He is also Course Director of “AI, Law & Society” at the Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London. Christopher’s research generally examines the societal impact of AI and its specific impact on the legal system, norms and process. His forthcoming books Lex Ex Machina: Is Law Computable? examines the prospective of AI replacing human judges and decision-makers and how societal power is increasingly expressed algorithmically.
