About David

David is a Turing Fellow researching music and AI, exploring humans and computers working co-creatively in music composition and performance. David’s research is distinctively interdisciplinary, intersecting information science, social science and humanities. He directs the Digital Humanities programme at University of Oxford, and is Technical Director of the Royal Northern College of Music Centre for Practice & Reseach in Science & Music (PRiSM). David is part of The Turing’s Data Science and Digital Humanities Interest Group and AI & Arts.
