Lachlan is a Group Leader of the Alan Turing Institute Data-Centric Engineering Programme and visiting researcher at Imperial College London. His work applies digital-twinning, optimisation and machine learning to industrial processes, with an emphasis on cloud-native simulation and mixed-reality visualisation. Research applications have included fluid dynamics, materials science and environmental remediation.
