As Head of Insight & Strategy in Telefonica SA’s global innovation division, Lucia’s remit is to identify future growth opportunities and to ensure these have a human core.
She does this through future-facing, experimental research studies that explore what people expect from emerging technologies (AI, AR, 5G) – thereby complementing technological possibility with a rigorous understanding of human needs. In turn, she translates insights and foresight gained in the field into strategies for verticals, products and services.
Before joining Telefonica in 2014, Lucia spent a decade in marketing as an award-winning strategist in some of the world’s leading creative agencies.
